We want to get to even more remote communities in the Amazon and our project manager in the Peruvian jungle, Raquel, has been telling us about the Requena region. It is a full two days by boat from Iquitos but worth the trip. Wonderful people living in a beautiful natural setting. They only have primary school though, so Jordan, like many communities in this area, will likely disappear unless parents are given reason to stay. Creating an education program for their children will help. Learn more about the first of four communities in Requena where we started a program this month.
