Veronica is in 6th grade and has been living in Mosoq Runa for four years now with her two brothers. When Veronica first arrived, her academic level was very low. With the support provided, her overall level has been improving, although her reading comprehension improving less rapidly. Recently, Veronica has been attending the academic reinforcement regularly and her level of reading comprehension has improved so much that she has participated in the reading comprehension competition among 6th grade children of elementary schools of Urubamba winning the 4th place. Better reading comprehension resulted in Veronica’s increased interest to all courses and this year her academic performance has improved so much that she ended the year as one of the best students!
